On location at SPIEF, Ernst & Young’s Emmanuel Quidet gives his take on this year’s event

Just a few days after giving his views on Russia’s economic outlook and investor appeal, Emmanuel Quidet, Partner at Ernst & Young Russia and President of the French-Russian Chamber of Commerce, caught up with Modern Russia on the ground at SPIEF. 

Quidet spoke about President Putin’s keynote address on June 21 and why he feels that SPIEF is still the foremost event for those interested in investing in Russia.

Emmanuel Quidet is partner at Ernst & Young Russia and President of the French-Russian Chamber of Commerce. Before joining the Russian office of Ernst & Young, he spent one year at the firm’s Pittsburgh office and eight years in the firm’s Paris office specializing in auditing for industry, consumer goods, and energy. In 2003, he co-founded the bilingual newspaper Le Courrier de Russie, which provides cultural, economic and political news in Russia. Ernst & Young is a global leader in assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services with offices throughout the world. They have eight locations in Russia stretching from St. Petersburg to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk in the Russian Far East.
