The Russian government is working with Goldman Sachs to set up a $10 billion private equity fund, part of which will be allocated to supporting agribusiness in Russia.  A Russian agroholding IPO was recently announced in London with more deals in the pipeline and a recent Wall Street Journal article weighed the pros and cons of Russian agriculture investments.  These are just some examples that speak to the same fact:  Russian agriculture is back on investors’ minds.
